I have been waiting and waiting for Brit to give everyone an update but it just hasn't happened so I will step in. I have to remind myself that I did marry a girl that rides the technology short bus but that's okay, I still love her. Well I graduated from Fire academy and received my state certifications as Firefighter1 and Firefighter 2 as well as hazardous materials awareness and operations. It was definitely a bitter sweet moment. I made some good buddies and will miss lighting and fighting fires with them. I just need to get a job now. I have a lot of testing opportunities coming up, and luckily, it seems there are a lot of departments hiring or about to hire.

And finally, I know most of you have heard the rumors......Yes Brit is PREGO! Just a little crazy, but we are very excited. She is just over 11 weeks. We were able to hear the baby's heart beat a few weeks ago and so far everything seems healthy. It's a little nerve racking for me, becoming a dad. I don't feel like I am old enough yet but I am very excited at the same time. So any advice is welcome, feel free to comment away.

Clay congrats on both you will be a great dad don't even worry. Once you see the baby all those nerves will go away. I wish we were closer, but I do hear that Texas is in need of some firefighters =)
congrats on everything! are you crazy kids staying in Ut still? not gonna lie- being a parent can be insanely hard BUT no matter how hard some moments are, it is worth it more than words can say. You guys are going to be so great! You two really are a great balance for each other and your kids are going to be gorgeous, hilarious, and outgoing. Hope you enjoy the pregnancy time!

Wow! Congrats to the both of you. Clay, I have only met you a few times but congrats on Graduating!! That is so awesome! my cousin fought fires in Cali. And even though Brit already told me last time we chatted... Congrats on being parents! I have no doubt you two will be so great!
