I know we are horrible at this, but i promise slowly but surely we will get better! It's been a couple of crazy months for us!! I had the Nordstrom Anniversary sale the last half of July and it literally took up ALL of my time... before it was even over we traveled to California to go to our annual favorite trip to Family Camp!! We had so much fun!! We didn't get to attend last year due to our adventure in Denver so it was really great to be able to go and visit with all of our friends and family that we hadn't seen in WAY too long!! We spent the whole week wakeboarding, wakesurfing, at the potholes and slippery slides and just hanging out with friends!! At the end of the week, at the annual Family Camp awards ceremony Clay was awarded the "Camp Slippery Slider" award because he got a huge group of kids to go to the slippery slides (and it usually isn't the most popular thing to do at camp) and i (of course) won the "Camp Sweet-tooth award" and the "Best Dressed award"... I figured this is because... i'm huge, but i tend to cover it up well! I just couldn't stay away from the camp candy store!!! After camp was over we decided to drive down to San Clemente and spend a few more days with our friends from camp!! We Spent the whole day at the beach Saturday and all about 45 of us went to dinner at BJ's!! We really had the best time and it was hard to leave all our California friends, yet again and travel back to Utah!!
We took Lots of pics so we will post them! Since we got home, we are trying to get more prepared for our little bundle on the way, he comes in less than 3 months!! Ahhh!! We are getting ready to remodel our condo a little with new wood floors, refinishing the cabinets, new carpet and painting the babies room!! I'm sure we will post pics when we finish! Also Clay got the great news that he was hired on Sandy's fire department as a Volunteer! He beat out over 120 other guys for the position, and luckily Sandy only hires from their volunteers. They are more like professional volunteers. He is stoked to start!! Yeah!!

So I came home from a Fire and EMS meeting last night to find my wife, laughing her head off walking around in my fire gear. She's pretty silly some days but thats what makes her awesome. Here are some pics of her trying to look tough as a firefighter.

California Trip!

Ok! So we really are BAD at this blogging thing! I keep telling people that once we have the baby i'll get better at it, but who knows, i should probably stop making promises! I'll just say that i will try to get better at it! So it's been awhile, i am now 21 weeks pregnant, more than half way!!! Scary!!! And incase you havn't heard we are having a BOY!!! Wohoo!! We are SO excited! Both of us really wanted a boy first, so we are stoked!! My dad did an ultrasound at 14 weeks and he could already tell that is was a boy, but we did another one at 18 weeks, and it was still a boy! So we are safe! Now we just have to start preparing for him, which is the scary part for me!! Anyway, baby aside we went to california last weekend for the 4th of July weekend! My poor husband hadn't been back for a year and a half, so it was a much needed trip for the both of of us! We had a blast! We stayed with family friends the Wares in San Clemente! Clay surfed pretty much the entire time and i relaxed and watched him pretty much the whole time! It was great! We were able to visit with alot of friends we havn't seen in too long, and we relized yet again that we really want to end up back down there ASAP!! Here's a few pics from the trip!!
